Personal Vision - part 2.5
The hypotheses suggested by information on the web
As we have seen, in previous posts, the choice of the central unit, or CPU to put it the old fashioned way, fell on Nokia, this is because I find the products of this company as well as interesting, efficient. My choice has personal reasons: I love Scandinavian design, their products, and if you follow me on Linkedin, you can see that currently collaborating with a design gallery, which has two main collections: the Scandinavian design and the Brazilian design over the years 50 to 60 and their interconnection, two distant places with a philosophy so close. I love the very type of communication and advertising Scandinavian, I find them simply sensational, even if I do not take exactly all shades, for obvious language problems, but they perceive the perfume and beauty. As I said here is the actual status of the project, the choice of glasses, currently in circulation in the Human Interface Technology Lab (HIT), can solve our problems, while for the CPU, Nokia has a few models that meet my current hypothesis see scheme ....

A situation to ponder for further study is, in my opinion, the development of APP necessary for the proper functioning of our smart-CPU which should go in a different direction from the current. I mean, if we want our solution has a greater ease of use, paradoxically, we should abandon the development towards App affecting only the interface Touch for APP which introduce the development of a command to use a voice interface.
System Voice...
Those currently on the market, are not so satisfactory, I do not allow you to convert voice into text quickly and effectively. I am sure that the integration of the two types of interface: the Touch and the Voice, will be the future of smart phones or smart-better cpu. Through a wifi or wireless, equipped with a microphone and headset, we perform all the operations that currently perform with a touch command. Here's an example of how a system should allow voice-command access the smart-cpu ...
Type phone....
1) voice command user: - Open section
2) feed back smart-cpu: fhhhth .. beep
3) com.-V.U.: - Title Search
4) f.b. S-cpu: beep
5) com.-V.U.: - Otti
6) f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth ... beep
7) com.-V.U.: - Forward call
8) f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth ...... Too ... Too .. Too ... etc.
Or the second option:
1. voice command user: - Open section
2. feed back smart-cpu: fhhhth .. beep
3. com.-V.U.: - Title Search
4. f.b. S-cpu: beep
5. com.-V.U.: - Otti
6. f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth ... beep
7. com.-V.U.: - Write message
8. f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth dictate please ......
9. com.-VU: - Otti Hello, I'm sorry I'm late to the appointment, about 40', no traffic, please wait until after Hello
10. f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth text ready ......
11. com.-V.U.: - Forward message
or even have the ability to edit the message before shipment ...
9) com.-V.U.: - Change message
10) f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth ready ......
11) com.-V.U.: - Add before .. after Hello
12) f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth ...... edit text ready
13) com.-VU: - further step to take your sister, I have already advised change ...
14) f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth .. beep message ready
15) com.-V.U.: - Forward message
16) f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth .. beep... message delivered
Currently, some smart phones are already qualified to do this, but I ask you have never tried it, do it and then tell me what happened to you ...
Our solution also provides, however, the mail service (opening applications or browser-resident smart-cpu). Consider in this case that the reading of the email occurs through the glasses, while the response, in contrast to current systems, no longer takes place via touch, but via voice.
1. com.-V.U.: - Open gmail
2. f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth .. beep... choose account
3. com.-V.U.: - mfl dot p at gmail dot com
4. f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth beep .. 24 incoming email
5. com.-V.U.: - open the number three
6. f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth beep ..
7. com.-VU: - Reply to all (or forwards to ...)
8. f.b. S-cpu: fhhhth... ready ...
9. main statement-VU: - Hello Laura, I'm sorry but now I only have three chairs on the model you choose, and not 6 like you do not know how to help you desired dot if not suggesting the 'Art dot 02 dot 104 dot 02 dot 144 very similar in both looks and how trim and matching dot on the price I await your decision soon thanks to Marco
How can there be clear from these brief examples of conversation, we could use the voice command to interact on almost all aspects of our system, when both functions as a phone, and when functions as a personal vision.
Currently we could develop the voice command, both from the point of view App (with an extra step for opening the touch of them), both as new features of the operating system. In this case, we should ask a further development in this direction for Google Android or Microsoft Windows, in my opinion would have no problem to do so as long as they serve and put them in a privileged position compared to its competitors. The Nokia user should be able to access the two systems, both Touch and Voice, either separately or simultaneously, to date it seems to me it is not a trivial matter, but I hope that the new solutions and innovations can lead to greater integration, given the opportunity to use that may develop..
To be clear here is that the perfume should have the solution.
I must give credit that Apple has brought its operating system to a frantic search and development of image mode and touch, but on the other hand has completely forgotten or neglected the better Voice. I remain of the belief that there will take place a slice of the future, to use a term of business, and Nokia has every chance to do so.
After this parenthesis, which would open an endless discussion, I wish to emphasize the creative process followed for this project, as you have noticed, it is not a linear process, that I move from point 1 to point 2 does not follow a straight path, but I walk this space with an irregular layout, diverting my path, according to new stimuli, new realities, new reflections. So, from my point of view, I proceed in the design according to a process linked more to the rules of "Kaos" as those of rationality, I find this more exciting, though to the untrained eye, it may seem wasteful, but in internet research and innovation follows a more transversal and vertical.
What we found until now...
Summing up the state of affairs here is what we found so far, in answer to our original question: "We can create an innovative project with the existing free information on the Internet?"
1. The first thing we decided the theme of our research, in my case the transposition of the "personal computer personal vision", without any business purpose, I want to clarify.
2. As a second point, we have structured the elements of the research needed to structure a project, dividing them into two categories: hardware and software required to implement it.
3. In the third, we have deepened and refined the various availability of existing hardware and disseminated on the web; clearly without dwelling too much on the various aspects of the operation (which will be explored in the biographical link), but because I'm not the HIT or a researcher of MIT. In addition, the choice of some elements than others, it is clearly very personal, and as already specified linked to various factors, so your choice might be totally different and just as effective.
4. A fourth aspect we have verified the validity of our ipotizzaato, that in order to operate effectively, it would need some insights related to the use of the interface, not only Touch but also Voice. This would allow the resolution of some functional aspects, related to the efficiency and the use of the solution.
5. The verification of current operating systems such as Google Android and Windows, the possible implementation in some aspects to make our system more accessible, where possible. This is a somewhat difficult, it is hard to ask the two companies as they do, to intervene or open their research on topics outside, for now, to their business, better as a first approach, to intervene directly in the App designed, can to optimize the operation of our solution even if we have to throw them initially in touch mode.
6. In the next phase we shall see, and deepen the study of AR-glasses. What the user sees, how can adjust the vision of what he sees, according to his personal physiological and morphological characteristics. As with the Touch-Voice system can work ... etc.
7. Once you've identified the features and functionality of the real solution for the project, I will confront the web community, the guru of technology or interface experience, the project should be able to interact in 2.0 mode, will get rich or Ordinarily, regenerate or because no ... destroyed.
I mention some points in order to deepen the topics mentioned by me ...
